I switched to a martingale after my beagle slipped his old buckle collar twice on walks. This one tightens just enough when he pulls but loosens right back, so it's not choking him. The turquoise has held its color through muddy hikes too.

The turquoise color is really vibrant and the martingale design works perfectly for my dog who tends to pull. It tightens just enough to keep him secure on walks without

The martingale loop actually does its job — my whippet pulls back on walks and this tightens just enough that she can't wiggle out, but it loosens right back so it's not choking her. The turquoise color is a bit brighter in person than online, which I ended up liking.
