My golden retriever sheds like crazy and this throw has saved my couch — the hair just shakes right off instead of weaving into the fabric. It's softer than I expected too, so I end up using it myself on chilly nights.

I've washed this thing twice already and it still looks new — the fabric doesn't pill up like the cheap blankets I used to buy. It's thick enough that my lab's hair doesn't poke through to the couch underneath.

Two dogs and a drooly cat have done their worst for a week now and the couch looks untouched. The fabric actually repels the fur instead of letting it weave into the cushions, and a quick shake sends most of it flying. It’s soft enough that my wife keeps stealing it for herself.
