This rope bone has survived three weeks of daily chewing from my lab mix without fraying apart. The knots are tight enough that he actually works to pull them loose, which keeps him busy way longer than his old rubber toy.

Bought this for tug-of-war with my shepherd mix and the knotted rope has held up way better than the cheap ones we tried before. The knots are tight enough that she can really grip them, and the chewing has actually cleaned up some of the tartar on her back teeth.

My golden retriever goes through toys in days, but this rope bone has held up to daily tug-of-war sessions for over two weeks now. The knotted ends are perfect for gripping and the cotton fibers actually seem to be doing some work cleaning her teeth.
